Shelli is back from TNNA, the big industry conference where all that is new, wonderful and fibery is revealed and indulged. She came back with the sniffles, but a cold was not enough to dampen the excitement of a rich, very full and exciting time. She hung out in the Tanglewood Fiber booth with Trish (who of course made quite a splash). Check out some pictures.

She took classes on moebius, toe up socks and corilus socks from the queen of innovative knitting construction Cat Bordhi, short rows with Lily Chin and Nuno felting with Knit Grrl herself Shanon Okey. I know conferences are a lot of work and stress and running a yarn store is  full of more work and stress, as any business is, but stuff like this just fuels the yarn dreams of the rest of us.

Of course Shelli came back with lots and lots of new stuff for the shop. We should start seeing it come in by the end of the week! Already here are these beauties:rosewoodhooks rosewoodhooksline

Are these not the most beautiful crochet hooks ever? The feel wonderful in your hand too. They are from Asciano Fiber Arts. Makes me want to start a crochet project.

Any day now new Namaste bags will arrive. Look at this super cute clutch:namasteclutch

(By the way, do you recognize the sweater Shelli is wearing? Remember this? Here is the sweater that shared it’s yarn. Now complete and beautiful. Learn to make your own in Shelli’s Top Down Shrug class starting February 6)

Here it is open to where you put your needles.

There is more, oh so much more to share. Soon, very soon.
