Gina Wilde of Alchemy Yarns has not only written, but produced her first book of knitting patterns. What makes this extra special for Knitterly is that Shelli has a pattern in it! Her Self Fringing Shawl in included in the book. If you are not familiar with this pattern, you should be. It is an easy and impressive way to knit a shawl or scarf with the fringe already knit in. It is a wonderful change of pace from a tradition scarf and a fantastic and fun way to use one skein of luxury or special yarn. There are lots samples in the store. Shelli teaches a self fringing class about every month and it is always popular. The next one is February 16th.

Neck Candy is another Shelli creation.
