The calender may say that winter is still with us for a few more weeks but the blooming trees, and the printer tell a different tale. The printer? Knitterly’s spring newsletter is, as I type, being printed and will be mailed shortly. You don’t have to wait until yours arrives in the mail to find out all the fun things happening, just visit the class page and find out the new scoop.

May is turning out to be quite a yarn lovers buffet as we have the month full of special visitors. Get your calenders ready!

Rosemary Hill of Ice Queen, Muir and Designs by Romi fame will be teaching a class on the gorgeous Ice Queen on May 24th. This is a beginning/intermediate level class that will cover adding beads to your lace. Not to leave Muir out, Rosemary will return later in the year to focus on this beautiful wrap. If you haven’t already, check out her designs. She has been on the cover of Knitty twice with her popular patterns and her jewelry is just beautiful.

Habu is returning for another trunk show on Friday May 16th from 4-7 pm. The textures and garments of Habu are always inspiring and yet I know that the Japanese patterns can be intimidating if you are not familiar with them. So, this time Takako from Habu will be giving pattern reading workshops though out the day on Saturday May 17th to show us all just how simple it can be.

And Trish. You knew we had to have some Tanglewood love in here didn’t you. Trish will be doing a bit of teaching this time, showing those ready to spin what’s what. Check back here on the blog or in the class schedule as more details become known.

And this is just some of the fun coming in the next few months. Stay tuned for more.
